We’re Back, ladies!

It’s been a minute since we’ve connected but I had a breakthrough after the November event I was in –
I was tired AF and needed to slow down!I hate to admit it, but I was overworking myself and was not paying attention to myself.
I was burnt out!So, as Ross & Rachel say, “We were on a break!”

Also, with the holidays creeping in, it was hard to sit still to even complete a book. So, with an overdue apology, some new insight and clear goals –
WE ARE BACK!
Our First Book in 2018

A New Earth: Awakening to Your life’s Purpose

“A wake-up call for the entire planet . . . [A New Earth] helps us to stop creating our own suffering and obsessing over the past and what the future might be, and to put ourselves in the now.” —Oprah Winfrey

With his bestselling spiritual guide The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle inspired millions of readers to discover the freedom and joy of a life lived “in the now.” In A New Earth, Tolle expands on these powerful ideas to show how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world. Tolle describes how our attachment to the ego creates the dysfunction that leads to anger, jealousy, and unhappiness, and shows readers how to awaken to a new state of consciousness and follow the path to a truly fulfilling existence.

Illuminating, enlightening, and uplifting, A New Earth is a profoundly spiritual manifesto for a better way of life—and for building a better world.

For the month of February, I am digging deep to evaluate a few lessons that have been brought to my attention. For starters, MY PURPOSE. I struggle with this daily, and although I know what I “think” it is, I am tested to really dig deep and connect on other levels. With our new book selection, I’m bringing ALL of you on the journey with me.

I am currently on a quest to learn MYSELF. I kicked off “The Year of ME” after attending a good friend’s Vision Board Party. A lot of my attention has been directed towards my professional journey and not a lot of time or energy has been reserved for myself, this year I’m changing that.

I encourage you to join me in making YOURSELF a priority, too.

IMPORTANT:

I don’t want us to drain ourselves or rush through this book, so the deadline for this month has been extended. I want you to have the opportunity to read, reread and digest this one. Pause. Reflect. Write in the margins and highlight what speaks to you.
This book is to be completed by March 15th
Virtual ~vs~ In-Person Book Club?

This month we are taking our reading to a new place, but first let’s chat. We read a few books together but still haven’t mastered how to connect once we finish them. I am opening the floor for suggestions to maximize our relationships and opinions, while keeping in mind the schedules of all the ladies who join in every month.

As an online book club, we have to depend on apps and programs to connect us; we have access to Facebook, Goodreads, and Google Hangout but none have been really efficient for us –
So, let’s brainstorm here for a minute.

Local Ladies, would you be open to a once a month meet and chat?
Would this be a New York / New Jersey solution?

Friends who join us from outside of the area, what works best for you? Is there a program you can recommend other that what I have offered? Is there a time that works best to log on and chat?

I want to make sure that I’m making myself and the group available to all possibilities. We are here to share a common bond and I don’t want to drop the ball by not working out the kinks completely.

Email me suggestions – I WANT to hear from YOU!
